Baby Nursery Signs

The bedding that I have chosen for Cote's nursery has a small selection of zoo animals that I would like her to learn to sign. It will be easy and fun since the animals will be present in her room. These signs will not be a necessity, just entertainment (which is why they are separate from the lessons).

The bedding is as follows:
As you can see, the four main animals are the giraffe, an elephant, a zebra, and a monkey. The signs are as follows.

The hand is in the shape of a C and moves up from the neck at a diagonal much like that of a giraffe.

The hand is in the shape of a C and moves out from the nose in a squiggle much like an elephant trunk.

The fingers are spread apart and the hand moves across the chest much like the stripes on a zebra.

The hands are shaped like scoops and move simultaneously up and down the sides of the body to mimic a monkey.

Because a Zebra is a horse I am also iincluding the sign for horse because it is a more common animal.

The hands resemble a two fingered L with the thumbs placed against the temples simultaneously moving forward and backwards like horse ears.
I will include these animals later in the videos, but until I get over this cold the pictures will have to suffice.

Enjoy!

Just Stay Connected :)
